NEW YORK, FEB 18 -

Andy Roddick will make his return to Davis Cup after a two-year absence when the US takes on Chile in a first round match March 4 in Santiago, the United States Tennis Association announced.

New American team captain Jim Courier on Thursday also named Sam Querrey, John Isner, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan to the team. The Bryan brothers are the No. 1 ranked doubles team in the world.

Roddick, 28, is the current world No. 8 and has not played in the event since the first round of the Davis Cup in 2009.

This is the fifth meeting all-time between the US and Chile with the Americans holding a commanding 4-0 record.

The winner will face either Belgium or Spain in the quarterfinals July 8-10.
