KATHMANDU, FEB 12 - CPN-UML Secretary and former Minister for Information and Communication Shanhkar Pokharel on Saturday said ministries related to security should not be conferred on UCPN (Maoist) unless the peace process was taken to logical conclusion.
Inaugurating the eighth conference of UML Dang-Kathmandu Contact Forum in the Capital, today, he said Maoist should be ready to give up even Home Ministry if they are honest for the consensus.
Nepali Congress also should join the government for the national consensus and Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal has called all parties to join the government from the Legislature-Parliament.
UML leader Pokhrel stressed on the need for settling the financial and political issues for the development of the nation.
The constitution writing process could not be concluded if a party comes out of the government when one joins it, he said. RSS
