KATHMANDU, JAN 12 -
United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) Chief Karin Landgren met Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Nembang on Wednesday.
Landgren met Nembang as a farewell visit prior to the departure of UNMIN. The term of UNMIN is expiring on Jan 15.
During the meeting, Landgren expressed her belief that the peace process will be taken to a logical conclusion and the constitution will be drafted in time even after the exit of UNMIN.
In response, Nembang expressed his gratitude for the UNMIN's role in the peace process and the statute drafting.
It has been reported that Nembang also expressed his hopes that UNMIN will support the country even after its exit.
