KATHMANDU, JAN 04 - UCPN (Maoist) Vice Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai on Tuesday expressed his disapproval, in writing, over the revised political document of party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
At the party Central Committee (CC) meeting, Vice Chairman Bhattarai wrote a 'note of dissent' on the political report prepared by Dahal by incorporating views of another Vice Chairman Mohan Baidya.
In his disapproval document, Bhattarai has mentioned that the party should put aside the “people’s revolt” and move ahead by concentrating on the peace and statute-drafting. There is no time to identify India as the party’s principal enemy, the paper further stated.
Leader Bhattarai wrote the note of dissent after Dahal read out his merged document and asked for suggestion.
The Maoist CC meet will continue on Wednesday as well, Maoist Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma said.
