KATHMANDU, DEC 06 -

Deposed King Gyanendra Shah said on Monday that the Indian leaders are worried about the political situation of Nepal.

“Indian friends expressed concerns over Nepal’s political crisis,” said the ex-king upon his arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after a two-week long stay in India.

When asked what kind of concerns did the Indians leaders express, Shah said, “you understand it by yourself.”

Apart from his well wishers and former royalists, his son Paras Shah and daughter-in-law Himani Shah went to the TIA to welcome him. His arrival was delayed by nearly two hours than the scheduled time.

It has been understood that Shah, during his visit, held discussions with various Indian leaders including Bharatiya Janata Party leader Lalkrishna Advani.

Accompanied by his wife Komal, the former royal had gone to India on Nov. 29 to attend a marriage ceremony on the invitation of his relatives.
