YCL attacks police men, two injured

PANCHTHHAR, DEC 04 -
UCPN (Maoist) youth wing Young Communist League (YCL) attacked police officers on duty in Panchthhar on Friday night.
Two police officers have been injured in the attack. The injured have been identified as police constable Khadga Shrestha and Sundar Rai.
Police on the same night arrested three YCL men including district Chairman Yogendra Sauden for their involvement in the attack.
According to the police, some 10 to 12 YCL men under the leadership of YCL Chairman Sauden attacked the police officers last night.
Police have claimed that they attacked them under the influence of alcohol consumption.
