KAILALI, NOV 30 -
Normal life in Kailali district has been affected owing to a general strike called by the Karnali River Transportation on Tuesday.
They resorted to the protest citing that the District Administration Office and the Seti Zonal Transport Management Office refused to provide a road permit for operation.
It has been learnt that five buses (Na 4 Kha 2502, Na 3 Kha 3682, Na 3 Kha 3889, Na 3 Kha 2653, and Na 4 Kha 275), one jeep (Na 1 Cha 5068), and a motorbike were vandalised in the strike.
The entire market places, industrial areas, academic institutes, and transportation has been brought to a standstill owing to the strike in the district.
