NAWALPARASI, NOV 29 -
A police constable deployed to control a student protest has died of electrocution in Gaindakot, Nawalparasi on Monday.
The constable identified as Arjun Kunwar was in the police team deputed to control a protest by the Oxford College students, demanding to put off the college exams.
The students have padlocked the college insisting to postpone the BCA level exams that was slated to begin from Sunday.
Police and the agitating students clashed briefly after Kunwar was suddenly electrocuted.
The exam was cancelled owing to the mishap.
