Three of a family swept away
KHOTANG, OCT 19 -
Three members of a family have gone missing on Tuesday after being swept away by a river in Khotang district.
One Bimala Bhandari, 28, of Udayapur her nine-year-old daughter Sabina and one-year-old son Sajan were swept away by the Sapsu river at around 11 this morning. The ill-starred woman was on her way to her parental house in Dhitung-6, Khotang for Dashain festival.
Police said there is slim chance of finding the missing persons as the river merges with the Sunkoshi river.
However, two other persons Purushottam Khatiwada, 28, and Ambika Khatiwada, who were accompanying the missing persons, have been found in unconscious state.
