Army personnel robbed in Baitadi
BAITADI, OCT 14 -
Two persons employed by the Nepali Army were robbed at Kapidigau-9, Dasrath Chand Municipality on Thursday.
Dipak Bista of Dasrath Chand-10 and Kailash Chand of Dasrath Chand-11 were heading towards their home for the Dashain festival when they were assaulted.
Among the items taken by the thieves was Rs. 40,000 cash, a 9-carat gold ring, and even a pair of shoes, according to the victums.
Bista and Chand are employed as army personnel at Chameliya Hydropower Project security camp.
Fifteen locals of Maunigau-8, Dasrath Chand have been taken under custody for further investigations, Police Post Incharge, Gopi Bhandari said.
