Gachhadar rules out consensus on govt formation
INARUWA, OCT 13 -
Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Loktantrik (MJF-L) Chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar on Wednesday ruled out the possibility of forging a consensus on the formation of a new government.
Talking to reporters at Inaruwa in Sunsari district, he asserted that the parties won’t be able to draw a consensus to form a new government even if they come to terms on the peace process and the statute-drafting.
He claimed that the formation of consensus government is only possible after the next general election.
The current caretaker government is the authorised government according to the principle of political science, Gachhadar remarked.
Saying that it is written nowhere that a care taker government shouldn’t bring in the budget, the MJF-L chair reiterated.
Expressing his wrath at the leaders of big three parties over the failure to form a new government, Gachhadar claimed the caretaker government will bring in budget after Tihar.
“The big-three parties who failed to form a government even within three months should apologise to public and quit the politics,” remarked Gachhadar.
