Truck plunges into Trishuli
CHITWAN, OCT 11 -
Two persons were injured when a goods carrier truck plunged into the Trishuli river at Darechowk of the Narayangadh-Muglin road Monday morning.
The truck (Lu.1Kha.6487) was heading towards Kathmandu from Bhairahawa when the incident took place at 5:00 this morning, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The injured include truck driver Deepak Kumal of Nawalparasi and his assistant Tope Kumar. They are undergoing treatment at the local medical centre.
Meanwhile, a truck loaded with feed and stationed in front of the Nawaganga Feed Industry at Bharatpur Municipality-9 caught fire all of a sudden this morning.
