Abducted teacher flees to freedom
UDAYAPUR, OCT 10 -
One Surya Narayan Sah, who was abducted by an armed group from a forest near Laxmipur in Saptari on Thursday, managed to flee to freedom on Sunday morning.
Sah, a teacher at Panchakanya Primary School at Triyuga-11 of Udayapur district, fled from the abductors and came in contact with the police from Kadmah in Saptari, Police Inspector Laldwaj Subedi at the Ward Police Office, Lahan, informed.
Sah’s coworker Prahlad Thakur was also abducted on Thursday. However, he was thrashed and freed on the same day after he could not walk any further.
Sah was kept in the Chure Forest for four days after the abduction. He is at the Ward Police Office at present.
He might have been abducted due to a land ownership issue, family sources predicted.
