LAMJUNG, OCT 01 -
A construction worker died of electric shock in Beshisahar, the headquarters Lamjung district, on Friday afternoon.
The deceased identified as Bijaya Rai alias ‘Prakash’, around 26, was electrocuted while working at a house construction site near Beshisahar 9, Serabazar after a high voltage wire broke apart, police said.
Rai who fell unconscious after the shock was rushed to Lamjung Community Hospital, where he breathed his last.
Rai, a resident of West Sikkim, India, had been working as a bricklayer in Lamjung for the past few years.
