POKHARA, SEP 30 -
Four mountaineers—three Japanese and one Nepali—went missing in an avalanche at the Dhaulagiri base camp in Myagdi district on Tuesday morning.
A helicopter belonging to Mountain Air rescued three others and took them to the Capital on Wednesday.
“Osamu Tanabe, 49, Tosiyo Yamamoto, 36, Haiseku Honda, 32 and Pasang Gelu Sherpa, 47, of Solukhumbu have gone missing in the incident,” said SSP Keshav Adhikari at the Gandaki Zonal Police Office.
