KATHMANDU, SEP 29 -
The first meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the Nepali Congress has not yet convened due to the current health problems of the newly-elected president of the party.
Internal parleys, appointing central members and office bearers have also been hampered as party President Sushil Koirala has not fully recovered from illness.
The first meeting of the party’s CWC is expected to deal with some very crucial questions concerning the political deadlock and the party’s internal controversies.
Koirala was hospitalised last Wednesday after he complained of chest pain.
He was discharged this morning.
