Economic sector reflects political upheavel: PM Nepal
KATHMANDU, SEP 20 -
Prime Minister of the caretaker government, Madhav Kumar Nepal said on Monday that the country's financial situation has been worsening owing to the political turbulance.
Speaking at the inaugurating of Commerce and Trust Bank in the Capital, Prime Minister Nepal said the economic condition of the country will improve once the political deadlock comes to an end.
The prime minister expressed his confidence that the political imbroglio will be resolved since the leaders have been making efforts to forge consensus.
While underlining that the rural region failed to make progress in the development sector due to the city-centric banking competition, Prime Minister Nepal urged the entrepreneurs to pay attention to the rural area as well.
