NC readies rooms for 3,300 convention representatives
KATHMANDU, SEP 13 -
Nepali Congress (NC) has arranged food and lodging for around 3,300 representatives arriving Kathmandu from various districts to participate in the party's General Convention slated for Sept. 17-21.
Speaking at a programme organised at the NC headquarters in Sanepa on Monday, coordinator of food and lodging management committee Bal Bahadur KC said that arrangement of food and lodging has been made in hotels situated at Gaushala, Bagbazar, Sundhara and Thamel.
KC said rooms at the hotels have been booked to provide a bed to every person. “The convention representatives will stay in the hotels from Thursday night till Sept. 21,” he said. “However, food management has not been arranged at the hotels. Foods will be provided at Bhrikutimandap three times a day.”
Around 15 million rupees will be spent in food and lodging, KC informed.
Meanwhile, NC internal management committee said the three-day process of registering convention representatives will start from Wednesday.
