UDAYAPUR, AUG 24 -
Two people have gone missing after the flooded Triyuga River swept them away Tuesday morning.
The District Police Office said Raj Kumar Chaudhary, 24, of Triyuga Municipality-3 and Asha Rai, 42 are missing in the river.
Chaudhary was swept away while he was going to rescue his parents left stranded after rains inundated their house. Rai was swept away as she accidentally fell into the river while accessing the flood strength sitting on the river banks, said her brother Junu Krishna Rai.
A police team is searching the missing duo. Their status is still unknown till Tuesday afternoon.
