KATHMANDU, AUG 20 -
The Supreme Court (SC) today issued a stay order in response to a writ petition filed by Arjun Kumar Karki stating that he was illegally terminated from the post of executive director of Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project.
A single bench of SC justice Rana Bahadur Bam issued the verdict to this effect, directing both the sides to be present in the discussion on August 26.
Karki, who was appointed as the executive director on the consent of Energy Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat on August 6, registered writ petition yesterday against the letter of termination he received on August 19 sent by Ministry Secretary.
