Two cases of swine flu disgnosed

SUNSARI, INARUWA, AUG 16 - Two of the 90 suspected flood displaced people in Sunsari district have been diagnosed with swine flu infection. Dr. Rajkumar Mehata at the Regional Health Directorate confirmed that two of the five sample tests carried out in the Capital tested positive for the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu. A special health team collected five samples of saliva for the laboratory test after 90 people were suspected of swine flu in the camps of flood displaced people. Scores of people at Inaruwa-6 and Jhokraha-7 have been displaced due to flood in Sunsari River some three weeks ago. Posted on: 2010-08-16 09:46
