At least four persons have been killed and dozens fallen sick due to the outbreak of diarrhoea in the northern remote villages of district-Gumda and Kashigaun.
Among those who lost their lives to diarrhoea are Chhalmaya Gurung, 60 and Kul Bahadur Gurung, 30, of Gumda VDC, and Aaita Singh Gurung, 14 and Kaanchhi Gurung, 37, of Manbu-2, Kashigaun.
Similarly, 13 locals of Gumda-5, Lapsibot, five of Maachhikhola and four of Khambesi have fallen sick, said Sunar Gurung, a local.
