DHADING, AUG 03 -
The driver of the truck that plunged into Trisuli River at Jogmira of Dhading on Monday morning has been identified as Upendra Yadav of Janakpur.
According to the District Traffic Office, the truck (Na 3 Kha 7797) was in high speed when it fell into the Trisuli River at around 5:00 in the morning.
Assistant driver, Santosh Shrestha of Dolkha saved himself by jumping off the truck before it plunged into the river. Shrestha is undergoing treatment at the Highway Community Hospital, Malekhu.
The search for the driver and the truck is still underway, police said.
