KATHMANDU, AUG 02 -
11 agitating students’ unions have executed a demonstration in front of the Constituent Assembly (CA) hall demanding admission in the Proficiency Level Certificate (PCL) on Monday.
The students have resorted to the protest in order to pressurise Tribhuvan University (TU) to withdraw its decision of PCL phase-out, after the previous appeals went unheard, Kapileshwor Yadav, President of the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Loktantrik (MJF-L) affiliated student union, informed.
The students have staged protest in front of the CA hall in order to draw the attention of the top leaders of different political parties.
The stir will continue until admission in the PCL is opened for the new session, the unions have informed.
