PARSA, JUL 31 -

Police held Parsa in-charge of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM) Jwala Singh group, an armed outfit in the Tarai on Saturday.

Bhaju Patel alias Akash Singh, of Lalparsa of the district has been arrested with weapon from his home. Police seized a home-made gun and two rounds of bullets from him, according to Superintendent of Police Rajendra Man Shrestha at Parsa District Police Office.

Patel is also claimed to be Bara district in-charge of the group.

Meanwhile, Nepal Army bomb disposal team defused a socket bomb that was left in the stranded position on the main road in front of Eye Hospital in Parwanipur.
