KATHMANDU, JUL 31 - The Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) has said that it would publicise its official view on Monday after going through the written letter submitted to the Morcha by the UCPN (Maoist) party on Sunday.

Talking to media persons after accepting the letter, Co-President of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum, Jaya Prakash Prasad Gupta said it was a positive step on part of the Maoists to come with the commitment in writing.

However nothing can be said about the letter itself, he said and added, "We will meet at 1:00 pm tomorrow and then decide on it."

Nevertheless, it was also positive on part of the Maoists to believe on reaching a consensus with more clarification on some of the points mentioned in the letter, Gupta added.

On the occasion, Gupta also disclosed that the Nepali Congress would be submitting its view in writing on Monday.

Earlier today, the Maoists had submitted its written commitment to the SLMM's concept paper. The Maoists, however, held some reservations in some of te points including the 'One Madhes Province' demand.
