Two persons who were involved in the June 29 gang rape incident of Dang district have been apprehended by the police on Monday.
One Sunil Wali, 21, and Yadav Tandon Khatri, 23, of Tulsipur-6 have been detained from Tulsipur Bazar by the police team led by Police Inspector Jeevan Budathoki of Area Police Office today.
Police have already arrested one of the guilty, Sachin Yogi, 22, of Urahari-8 earlier.
Five out of the eight involved in the gang rape are yet to be arrested, Budathoki informed. A case has already been filed against the eight following the mishap, he added.
District Police Office, Dang had made public the names and the addresses of the convicts a few days ago.
