JANAKPUR, JUL 22 -
Police on Thursday detained the chairman and three other cadres of the Rajiv Jha-led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), an underground outfit active in Tarai region.
The arrested four were identified as Prashant, Abhivadan, Gajendra Mandal and JTMM Chairman Jha.
Police said they were nabbed from Laxmipur Bagewa in Dhanusha district while they were attending a condolence gathering of Morcha cadre Abinash Mukti.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Sarvendra Khanal said they were held on charge of conducting suspicious activities and investigation was underway.
