United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has urged the political parties to intensify their efforts towards the formation of a consensus government.
Issuing a press release, Ban Ki-moon has also asked to prioritise the implementation of all peace process commitments.
"The Secretary-General also urges speedy progress on the issue of the integration and rehabilitation of Maoist army personnel," reads the statement.
The Secretary General issued such statement in the wake of resignation by Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on June 30.
