YCL continues attack on NC activists in Gorkha
GORKHA, JUN 27 -
Cadres of the Young Communist League (YCL), UCPN (Maoist) youth wing, have continued their assault on Nepali Congress (NC) activists as they beat up three NC activists at Dhungagadhe in Gorkha district on Sunday.
YCL cadres have been assaulting NC activists in the district over a dispute on the election of the management committee at Ghyampesal-based Dullav Higher Secondary School since past two days.
Three NC activists—Nabaraj Adhikari of Aarupokhari VDC-5, Khilprasad Devkota of Masel-6 and Tika Amgai of Tandrung-9—have become the victim of latest YCL attack.
NC District Secretary Ishwor Pandey, issuing a press statement today said Adhikari is being treated at the district hospital and the other two injured are undergoing treatment at a local health centre.
Earlier yesterday, three NC activists and a police constable were hurt in the YCL attack in the district over the school row.
