Prez Yadav to take stock on MRP delay
KATHMANDU, JUN 12 -
President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav said on Saturday that he will take stock on delay in the printing of Machine Readable Passport (MRP) from Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.
The president said so after hearing complains from the representatives of Foreign Employment Association Nepal (FEAN) that the foreign employment business is seriously in crisis due to the centralized distribution of passport from the capital.
The FEAN had submitted a memorandum to President Yadav at his office in Sheetal Niwas today. Earlier, the foreign employment association had submitted memo to Vice President Paramananda Jha, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala.
The President said that he will take steps to bring MRPs keeping in view the hardships faced by the people due to the delay.
