10 Tibetans held in Dolakha

DOLAKHA, JUN 02 -

Police on Wednesday arrested 10 Tibetans from Lamabagar border in Dolakha district after they sneaked into Nepal illegally from Tibet.

According to the District Police Office, the Tibetans – three women and seven men -- who entered Nepal without permission will be sent to the Immigration Department in Kathmandu for further investigation.

Nepali authorities have tightened security along the border with Chinese autonomous region Tibet in an attempt to prevent influx of Tibetans as part of its commitment to stop anti-China avtivities in Nepali soil.
