BHAIRAHAWA, JUN 01 -
Unidentified armed men gunned down UCPN (Maoist) cadre Sapatu Yadav of Bishnupura-7 in Bhairahawa on Monday night.
Yadav, 35, was the member of Awadh State Committee and secretary of Rupandehi-5, police informed.
Yadav was shot dead while he was on his way to Thakurapur village of Bishnupura in a motorcycle last night.
Yadav died on the spot. He had sustained bullet injuries in his neck and head.
Meanwhile, Janatantrik Tarai Madhesh Mukti Party has taken the responsibility for the murder.
Police have been investigating the incident.
