An unidentified person on Tuesday threatened journalist Pawan Adhikari with death. “An unknown man telephoned from the Capital and threatened to kill me. He asked me to stop protesting against Unity Life International (ULI) or face the 'death penalty,'" said Adhikari, an Itahari-based reporter of Rajdhani daily and the secretary of a struggle committee formed to protest the ULI scam.
The Federation of Nepali Journalists denounced the threat and demanded strong action against the caller.
