Justice denied to me: Ex-King Gyanendra

KATHMANDU, MAY 25 -

Former King Gyanendra Shah has said he feels that  justice has not been given to him wholly when he had to leave the royal palace.

In an exclusive interview with Image Channel, he said that he does not feel guilty of the end of monarchy but feels a little sad. "I feel sad because many things could have been avoided."

In the promo of the interview which will be broadcast at 8 p.m this evening, Shah is seen being phiolosphical. "Life is bed of roses; there are thorns also," he said.

He said he wants to be introduced as a common Nepali.

The former king has been living a low-profile life following the Constituent Assembly's decision to abolish the monarchy two years ago.

In a context, he has said that it is not necessary that he discusses politics with everybody he meets.

Also, he said there were chances of joining the politics but he did not think of it.
