KATHMANDU, MAY 17 - Adventurer and world cyclist Pushkar Shah conquered Mt. Everest on Monday morning.

A caravan of mountaineers successfully ascended the world's highest peak as the part of the Everest Peace Expedition 2010. Shah is the team leader of the expedition that aims to spread the message of peace to the world.

He hoisted the national flag of Nepal and flags of all 150 countries he had been to on his cycle in last 11 years.

He had cycled to the Everest Base Camp.

On April 7,  President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav had handed over the national flag to Shah amidst a function at the President's Office in Sheetal Niwas.
