KATHMANDU, MAY 08 -
A day after the UCPN (Maoist) called off its general strike, the ruling CPN-UML has appealed all the political parties to responsibly move towards the direction of consensus and national consensus government.
Noting that the challenge to complete the twin task of constitution drafting and peace process still looms large, the UML has voiced its wish to intensify dialogues and discussions to accomplish the tasks, according to a press statement issued by UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal on Saturday.
Likewise, the UML has also welcomed the Maoists’ decision to put off their general strike.
