Disregard to Maoist demands will cost govt dear, warns Dr. Bhattarai
KATHMANDU, MAY 03 -
UCPN (Maoist) Vice Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai warned on Monday that the government would have to lose Singhadurbar—the central government administration—if the Maoists lose their patience.
The Maoist ideologue cautioned the government that the next Mahabharat, metaphorical expression for the biggest and the final war, would sweep the rulers from the Singhadurbar.

Addressing the Maoist mass assembly on the second day of their indefinite general strike at Sundhar in the capital today, Dr. Bhattarai remarked the Maoists have given a top priority to peaceful demonstration.
"It's our first wish that our five-point demands be addressed through the peaceful agitation," said the Maoist leader adding, "But if the rulers continue to ignore our demands on time, the upcoming historical war will cost the government dear."
He went on to claim that his party will promulgate people-oriented constitution from the streets if the "people loose their patience".
