Eight Tibetans arrested in Dolakha
DOLAKHA, APR 16 -
Police on Friday arrested eight Tibetans from Singati bazaar in Dolakha district after they sneaked into Nepal illegally from Tibet.
According to the District Police Office, the Tibetans – six women and two men -- who entered Nepal illegally will be sent to the Immigration Department in Kathmandu for further investigation.
Nepal has tightened security along its border with Chinese autonomous region Tibet in an attempt to prevent influx of Tibetans in Nepal as part of its commitment to stop anti-China avtivities in Nepali soil.
