UNMIN against peace process: Gachhadar
RAJBIRAJ, APR 13 -
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Planning and Works Bijay Kumar Gachhadar on Monday evening accused the United Nations Mission in Nepal (UNMIN) of being against the peace process.
Speaking at a press conference in Saptari district, Gachhadar who is also the chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum- Loktantrik (MJF-L) said UNMIN has failed to play effective role in the peace process so its tenure should not be extended at any cost.
He said UNMIN came in the country with the invitation from the government to take the peace process to a logical conclusion but it has been busy in hiding the faults of UCPN (Maoist).
In another context, Gachhadar said the Maoists will be responsible if constitution is not drafted on time.
