KATHMANDU, APR 09 - Students from all across the country are participating in a national level conference on climate change from Saturday.
The three-day Children's Conference on Climate Change is organised by Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN) in collabration with Go Green in Kathmandu.
According to Sanjeevani Yonzon Shrestha, WCN programme manager, around 50 students from several districts are attending the conference, which aims to educate them about climate change issues.
The objectives of the programme, according to Shrestha, are to put students in the picture of climate change and its impact on the environment.
Five best students selected from the conference will get an opportunity to represent Nepal in Children and Youth International Conference to be held in Brazil in June, said WCN, issuing a press statement on Friday.
