No possibility of govt change: State Minister Khadka
SURKHET, APR 09 -
Minister of State for Local Development Ganesh Bahadur Khadka on Friday said the government won’t topple just because of the street babbling of UCPN (Maoists).
Khadka said the Maoist movement to topple the government kept no sense except pushing the country into instability as the Maoists had stepped down from the government on their own in the past after failing to run the government.
Speaking at a drinking water and sanitation workshop here today, the minister said the government formed through due process can be toppled only through a due process no matter how much the Maoists demand for the government’s dissolution.
On the occasion, Minister Khadka directed officials to effectively execute sanitation works as sanitation is the basic need of the people. Local district officers and chiefs of Drinking Water and Drainage Department from all 15 districts from the mid-western region participated in the workshop.
