KATHMANDU, APR 04 - Nepali Congress lawmakers voiced for the change of government on Sunday during their Parliamentary Party meeting. NC is one of the key allies of the ruling UML-led coalition.

They said as the government has already failed and lending support to it has cost the NC’s goodwill.

Lawmakers including Keshav Kumar Budhathoki and Kumari Rai opined that the NC should withdraw its support from the government.

NC PP leader Ram Chandra Poudel, however, the defended the coalition. If mistakes have been made then they should be rectified, he said, “We should not act to change the government.”
