KATHMANDU, APR 04 -
The seventh session, also known as winter session, of the Legislature-Parliament has kicked off at the Constituent Assembly Hall at New Baneshowre in the Capital on Sunday afternoon .
As soon as the parliamentary session began, Constituent Assembly Chairman Subash Chandra Nemwang read out the letter sent by the President's Office to begin the parliamentary session at 4 p.m.
Finance Minister Surendra Pandey tabled the first financial amendment bill to the House today. After observing two minutes of silence in the memory of martyrs the House session was put off for it's sitting on April 7.
However, the meeting did not pass the condolence motion on late Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala citing that the CA meeting had already passed the motion.
