MAR 21 - Japanese Embassy in Kathmandu has expressed condolences to Nepal and the bereaved family on demise of Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.
Issuing a press statement Sunday afternoon, the Embassy said Koirala made a historic contribution to the ongoing peace process and democracy of Nepal, and his demise is a great loss for the nation.
“Embassy of Japan wishes all political parties to be united and accelerate the writing of the constitution for its peace process,” read the statement.
