KATHMANDU, MAR 20 -

Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala wanted to see the conclusion of ongoing peace process and the completion of constitution drafting even from his death-bed.

According to his daughter and Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala, the veteran leader who breathed his last on Saturday noon at her residence in Mandikhatar, expressed his concern over the political crisis in the country and asked his high-profile visitors including Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal to forge political consensus to move ahead.

Rastriya sahamati (national consensus) were the understandable words he pronounced in his conscious state,” she told Kantipur Television in a live interview from her residence this evening.
