KATHMANDU, MAR 20 - An emergency meeting of Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee was held at Mandikhatar on Saturday afternoon, where NC President Girija Prasad Koirala breathed his last, to decide the official announcement of Koirala's demise.
The meeting held at the residence of Koirala's daughter and Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala in Mandikhatar announced that the octogenerian leader died at 12:10 this afternoon.
Koirala fell unconscious since 5 this morning.
All CWC members who were out of the Valley were summoned to attend the meeting.
