TANAHUN, MAR 20 -
Two people have been killed when a micro bus collided head on the motorcycle at Anbubhaireni along the the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway on Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as motorcycle riders Thakur Prasad Kandel, 40, and Som Prasad Pantha,30, of Gorkha.
The accident took place as the micro-bus (Ga 1Kha.2707) heading towards Pokhara collided with the motorcycle (Ga.4Pa.3902) coming from the opposite direction.
Following the incident, the locals obstructed the Prithivi highway at midnight, and also vandalised the micro-bus.
Police had to use force to clear the highway.
