PM offers condolence to Karnali accident victims

KATHMANDU, MAR 19 -

Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed deep sorrow over the death of so many people in the bus accident that took place at Pipalkot of Dailekh district on Thursday.

In a condolence message today, Prime Minister Nepal condoled the death of 31 people in the accident and expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families. He also prayed for speedy recovery to those injured in the mishap.

Prime Minister Nepal said the bodies concerned have been instructed to expedite the search and rescue works for the people missing in the accident and search and rescue is underway as per this instruction.

He said the government has rescued and airlifted the injured to hospital on Thursday alone and that no stone would be left unturned for rescuing the remainder.

The prime minister said he is shocked by the accident in which 31 people lost their lives, a dozen others were injured and still some more people are missing.
