SUNSARI, MAR 19 -

Fire gutted six houses of five families and destroyed properties worth Rs. 1 million at Haripur VDC-5 in Sunsari district on Thursday evening. No human casualties have been reported.

According to police, the fire broke out when the children were playing with matchstick at Kamal Sada's house.

The fire destroyed houses of Lutran Sada, Jaykrishna Sada, Mugalal Sada and Rati Lal Sada.

The fire was doused by the joint effort of, police and locals, police said.
